The Sacred Tree grew out of another business called “Faerie Moon”. As my direction and products had changed, I felt the need to rebrand and rebuild the business. “A sacred tree is a tree which is considered to be sacred, or worthy of spiritual respect or reverence.” In addition, being born in Orillia, Ontario Canada- I had learned of possible family ties to the Chippewas of Rama First Nation where my great grandmother had lived. This confirmed for me a feeling of being tied into the spiritual teachings of the Chippewa, Ojibwe, and First Nations peoples.

“For all the people of Mother Earth, the Creator has planted a Sacred Tree under which they may gather, and there find healing, power, wisdom, and security. The roots of this tree spread deep into the body of Mother Earth. Its branches reach upward like hands praying to Father Sky. The fruits of this tree are the good things the Creator has given to the people: Teachings that show the path to love, compassion, generosity, patience, wisdom, justice, courage, respect, humility, and many other beautiful gifts.”

Keeping these teachings in mind.. The Sacred Tree uses on the best materials for its products in mind. We use suppliers and wholesalers from around the world who use Eco-friendly and sustainable resource farming. We promote freedom of choice, and believe we are one species, inter-related, all worthy of respect, freedoms, and the basic necessities of life.
